The interactive staircase is the main circulation element that links up two parts of Hong Ning Road Park at two different levels. Our team has designed and built the interactive staircase that interactive with visitors by change of colours and rhythms. On each flight, a sensor in installed that react to speed, pressure, number of visitors  and walking direction on the staircase. These inputs are used to curate a variation of lighting, making the staircase an urban choreography that interactive with the city.
