Concept​

With the amazing scenery offered by the house, we envisioned it to be a unique sanctuary for one to be away from the hustle of the city and retreat back in nature.

The design aims at offering an indoor/ outdoor experience. The interiors are surrounded with big full height folding doors which can all be opened to bring in outdoor to indoor.  There is no boundary between interior and nature. It offers a fourth-dimension experience to living – the sound from nature: wind blowing, water babbling, birds singing, etc.

The mind cleansing journey idea is reinforced in the layout planning as well. One design highlight is the master bedroom with a feature bathtub in front of master bed. The bathtub area is slightly elevated with wooden decks that connect seamlessly with the outdoor balcony deck. When folding doors are opened, the outdoor fuses with the interior to create a unique cleansing experience. The calm, serene vibe is carried out throughout the whole house design to the roof level where there is an outdoor shower area designed to bring one even closer to nature. 

In this project, we experimented with a lot of natural materials such as bamboo, rattan in our furniture and interior design.  These natural materials are sustainable and with low carbon footprint. Reclaimed wood is being chosen in some of the furniture as well. These natural sustainable material selection gives a great appearance and offers good scent of nature which adds another dimension of experience to the house.
